ABOUT US
Founder and Chef Brianna Cook is a native of Plano, Texas, although has lived most of her life in Houston.
Brianna grew up loving to cook and aspired to attend culinary school. She ultimately decided to get a business degree, with the dream of eventually still owning a restaurant.
Brianna attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelors in Management and a minor in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After graduation Brianna took a marketing position at Shell Oil Company. Although she had a day job, at night and on the weekends she would cook for her friends and family every chance she got. Although not formally trained as a chef, Brianna considers herself a student to global cuisine. She has visited over 25 countries and has incorporated seasonings, flavors and cooking techniques into her dishes.
After almost five years of working in Corporate America, in May 2019, Brianna took a leap of faith by leaving Shell and founding Pepper & Mint, LLC.
Our mission at Pepper & Mint is to create a memorable culinary experience for our clients and their guests by providing fresh, flavorful and unique flavors that leave lasting impressions.

Chef Cook incorporates a variety of elements in all of her dishes that come together in harmony. She believes in balance, hence the company name. Peppers represent spice, and mint represents herbs. She believes fresh herbs and bold spice create the foundation for great food.
Pepper & Mint is a leader in flavor by making all spices blends, marinades, sauces and dressings to create the perfect balance in flavor. Chef Cook shops in different countries and brings back authentic food native to that cuisine.
